‘Mindfulness means being awake. It means knowing what you are doing because you have stopped for a while and watched, listened, understood. ’ Jon Kabat-Zinn
Over the 4 sessions of this course we will explore a range of different mindfulness practises and some theoretical background. There will also be time to share our own experiences during the practises. To build on the learning and help to include mindfulness into everyday life, there will be some tasks to do between the sessions. This course is suitable for people new to mindfulness and for people with previous experience. The sessions will be led by Katja Neumann, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness Teacher.
All sessions will be held in Activity Room 1, Hill of Banchory Community Learning Centre, except 5 Feb which will be in Activity Room 2.
